MOVIE PACKAGE

Reservations

Reservations need to be secured at least 1 week in advance. Reservations are made on a first-come first serve basis and are tentative until deposit and signed contract have been secured. Once signed contract and deposit has been secured your event is then guaranteed.

Payment

50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time the contract has been signed in order for your event date to be secured. The final balance is due 3 days prior to your event. We accept cash, venmo, paypal, cash app, and most major credit cards including: MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

Weather Policy

In cases of inclement weather, you have the opportunity to reschedule your event. We ask that you notify us AT LEAST 12 hours prior to the event and we will be able to help you select another available date. There is no additional charge for rescheduling due to bad weather.

If at any time during the event (including setup) the weather conditions worsen, Link Up reserves the right to protect its own equipment by canceling or delaying setup/production until suitable weather conditions exist.

Earliest Movie Starting Time

Our projectors are bright enough to see images on the movie screen 30 minutes before sundown. For the best possible movie experience we always suggest starting the movie 5 minutes after sundown. Sunset times are available at www.timeanddate.com. Techs will begin playing music immediately after the screen is set up.

Standard Length

The standard movie event length is 3 hours.

Extend Event Length

The event length can be extended at $100/hour or a double feature (2 hours) can be added on to the package for $150.

License Requirements

For a backyard movie screen party in the privacy of your own home you will NOT need a film license. However if you plan host the event in a public place you need to purchase the appropriate non-theatrical license by visiting the following sites:

Setup/Teardown

We begin setup approximately 1 hour before sunset.The screen setup takes 30 minutes, audio equipment tests begin immediately after the screen is standing, and projection tests begin at dusk. The screen will begin deflating 10 minutes after the end of the movie, unless otherwise specified by customer. After the movie, all equipment will be removed within 1.5 hours. Please note procedures may vary based on rental agreement made with customer.

Electrical Generators

We can supply the power for our equipment for an additional fee, giving you great flexibility in choosing locations for your event. Please make sure you discuss your power needs with one of our friendly account reps.

Indoor Use

All of our screen packages may be used indoors depending upon the ceiling dimension. Give us a call to discuss your indoor event requirements.

Advance Reservations

Friday and Saturday are always in high demand, so we recommend reserving your equipment as soon as possible.

Public Place Theatrical License

As the equipment provider, we are legally not permitted to obtain the license for you, the end-user. You may obtain a license by visiting Swank or Criterion.


KARAOKE PACKAGE

Standard Length

The standard karaoke event length is 2 hours.

Extend Event Length

The event length can be extended at $75/hour.

Karaoke Service Area

The Karaoke Package service area is limited to 30 miles outside of Boston.

Song Selection

The music database included with the package has a catalog of 38,000 songs. Additional songs can be supplemented with YouTube.


GAME PACKAGE

Game Rental Length

The standard game rental is for 24 hours. Your games must be ready to be picked up at 24 hours from the drop-off time, unless otherwise agreed to and written in the contract. You may extend your rental period at any point in time by giving us a call at 857-256-1665.

Game Damage/Missing Pieces Upon Arrival

While our team checks every game before it goes out for delivery, if you find that you are missing pieces or rules, making the game unplayable, please give us a call at 857-256-1665 and we would be happy to drop off a replacement game, or give you a credit for your next rental.

How Far Do You Deliver Games?

The Game Night Package service area is limited to 30 miles outside of Boston.

Purchase Games

This depends entirely on our stock of games at that point in time, but you can always ask if it is available for purchase at the end of your rental period! Your rental fee will be deducted from the MSRP of the game, and only the remaining cost is due at that point in time.

Game Rental Extension

If you wish to extend your rental period, it is an additional $5.00 per game/night.

Games Not Returned/Late

If you miss your return pick up date and time and do not contact us regarding extending your rental period, you will be charged a late fee of $5.00 per game, per day that it is late or we are unable to reach you for a pick up. After 3 days, if we are still unable to get hold of you, you will be charged the full MSRP of the game(s) to replace, including any late fees accrued. Game Damage During Rental

If the game is damaged in any way during your rental period, you will be responsible for the full MSRP cost of replacing the game.
